In 2025, MS Capital Group and several of its portfolio companies proudly supported Ocean Prosperity, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems and reducing ocean pollution. Through this collaboration, a series of underwater and coastal cleanup events were organized across Bali’s coral reefs and beaches, bringing together divers, volunteers, and environmental advocates.

Impact in 2025

Throughout the year, Ocean Prosperity organized 10 cleanup events, supported by MS Capital Group as the main sponsor. These initiatives mobilized hundreds of participants and resulted in a significant positive impact on Bali’s marine environment.

2025 Impact Overview

  • 10 underwater and coastal cleanup events
  • 2,869 kg of trash removed from coral reefs and beaches
  • 615 volunteer participants
  • 276 divers involved in underwater collection efforts

The cleanups focused primarily on areas where marine debris threatens coral reef ecosystems and marine biodiversity. Participants worked together to remove plastic waste, fishing gear, and other debris from the ocean floor as well as nearby coastal areas.

After collection, the waste was carefully sorted and documented. In partnership with Peduli Alam, a Bali-based organization specializing in responsible waste management, recyclable materials were separated and processed to ensure they could be properly recycled whenever possible.

Protecting Bali’s Coral Reefs

Coral reefs are among the most diverse ecosystems on Earth and play a crucial role in maintaining healthy oceans. They support thousands of marine species, protect coastlines, and provide important resources for local communities.

However, marine pollution continues to pose a serious threat to these ecosystems. Plastic waste and discarded fishing equipment can damage coral structures, endanger marine life, and disrupt delicate ecological balances.

By organizing regular cleanup activities and bringing together the diving community, volunteers, and environmental organizations, Ocean Prosperity helps remove harmful debris while raising awareness about the importance of protecting marine environments.

About Ocean Prosperity

Ocean Prosperity is an environmental initiative focused on protecting the oceans through direct action, community engagement, and environmental awareness.

The organization regularly organizes underwater cleanup events and environmental initiatives aimed at reducing marine pollution and preserving fragile ocean ecosystems. By working with divers, volunteers, and local partners, Ocean Prosperity creates measurable environmental impact while inspiring communities to take part in ocean conservation.

A Shared Commitment to Positive Impact

At MS Capital Group, we believe businesses can play an important role in supporting initiatives that contribute to a sustainable future. Across our portfolio, we encourage companies to participate in projects that benefit communities and protect the natural environment.

Our support of Ocean Prosperity reflects this commitment. By contributing resources and encouraging participation from our network, we aim to help initiatives that generate real, measurable environmental impact.

Thank You to the Community

These initiatives would not have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of the many volunteers who participated throughout the year.

We would like to thank the 615 volunteers and 276 divers who contributed their time and effort to help remove waste from Bali’s oceans and coastlines. Their commitment demonstrates how powerful community action can be in protecting the environment.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Ocean Prosperity for their ongoing efforts to organize and lead these initiatives, as well as to Peduli Alam for their important role in ensuring responsible waste sorting and recycling.

Looking Ahead

The results of the 2025 cleanup initiatives demonstrate how collaboration between organizations, volunteers, and communities can create meaningful environmental impact.

MS Capital Group and its portfolio companies look forward to continuing to support Ocean Prosperity and similar initiatives that help protect marine ecosystems and promote healthier oceans for future generations.
